According to EUROCONSTRUCT network experts, European residential construction will continue its recovery. In 16 out of the 19 EUROCONSTRUCT member states the scope of construction activities looks set to increase this year; while growth looks set to exceed the 3% marker in nine member countries. In the renovation measures sub-segment growth rates will continue to fall through 2015 and in 2016, especially due to the high level that has already been reached. New construction, by contrast, will gain impetus in the mid-term. For 2015 EUROCONSTRUCT network experts expect the number of dwelling permits in new residential buildings to rise by over 100,000 units.
