Venice Summer Institute 2024: Globalization and Innovation
San Servolo, Venice
Scientific Organizers: Anna Gumpert, Kalina Manova, and Claudia Steinwender
Global objectives of sustainable growth, inclusive development and climate action are inherently linked to globalization. A key feature of globalization in the 21st century is the rise of global production networks and multinational activity. This trend both creates new challenges and opportunities for firms, and intensifies countries’ interconnectedness and interdependence. This workshop will bring together researchers at the intersection of international trade and innovation to better understand how globalization shapes techno-logical change and progress towards global objectives.
Paper submission for this workshop is now closed and the program will be made available in due course.
