Post-Doctoral Opportunity at Stanford

This fall the Stanford Environmental and Energy Policy Analysis Center (SEEPAC) will be aiming to recruit a young scholar for a two-year postdoctoral position in environmental, resource or energy economics and policy to begin Fall 2015.  SEEPAC is a joint venture of the Stanford Institute for Economic Research (SIEPR) and Stanford’s Precourt Institute for Energy (PIE).

The postdoctoral fellowship comes with a stipend of approximately US$110,000 per year and includes support for a research assistant and some funds for travel.  This fellowship allows young scholars to pursue policy-oriented environmental and energy research, be an active member of Stanford’s economics community, and interact with a wide range of scholars focusing on current environmental and energy problems. It is an exceptional opportunity.

If you know of a young scholar who would be a good candidate for this fellowship, your informing him or her of the fellowship and encouraging that person to apply would be much appreciate. Feel free to pass the candidate's name to Charles D. Kolstad as well.  The candidate should apply through the broader SIEPR Postdoctoral Fellows Program, which is listed on EconJobMarket.org (https://econjobmarket.org/AdDetails.php?posid=2664).  The application deadline is December 1.

Larry Goulder or Charlie Kolstad will be happy to provide more details.
