Workshop on International Trade and Labour Markets

The Institute for Labour Law and Industrial Relations in the European Union (IAAEU) and the Chair of International Economic Policy at Trier University will host a workshop on International Trade and Labour Markets.

The workshop will be held at Trier University, Germany, on 25-26 November 2016, and is organized by Marco de Pinto, Laszlo Goerke and Xenia Matschke. It will bring together international scholars researching at the intersection of international trade and labour economics using theoretical and/or empirical methods.

First Dondena Workshop On Public Policy

On 14-15 November 2016, the Welfare State and Taxation Unit of the Dondena Centre for Research on Social Dynamics and Public Policy will host the first Dondena workshop on Public Policy.

Papers examining how policy affects the accumulation of human capital over the life cycle, inequality, and social mobility are especially welcome.
Keynote speakers will be Pedro Carneiro and David Figlio.
