Full or Associate Professor in Economics

The Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy, offers a positon as Full or Associate Professor in Economics.

The candidate should have a PhD in Economics or equivalent and an excellent record of international scientific publications. All fields of Economics will be considered.

According to Italian legislation, only candidates already holding an equivalent academic position (Full or Associate Professor) at their current foreign university are qualifying for a "direct call".

Deadline for applications is 27 May 2016

6th Doctoral Student Colloquium - Call for Papers

The NIE Doctoral Student Colloquium is aimed at providing PhD students working in the area of Industrial Economics a chance to showcase their research at an early stage of their career in a relatively informal environment.

The Colloquium will take place on 24 June 2016, at the Nottingham University Business School.

The deadline for submitting an abstract is 13 May 2016. Abstracts should be send by E-Mail.

Deadline for submission of papers is 17 June 2016.

First Bruneck Workshop on the Political Economy of Federalism and Local Development

Submissions are invited for the First Bruneck Workshop on the Political Economy of Federalism and Local Development, which will be held at the Bruneck-Brunico campus of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano from 13 to 14 on September 2016.

The workshop aims at bringing together top scholars in Political Economics to discuss their recent research. Bård Harstad, from the University of Oslo, will be the keynote speaker.

Submission of unpublished papers and extended abstracts for work in progress should be sent by 29 May , to Boffa Federico. Authors of accepted papers will be notified by June 19, 2016.

Call for papers: European Public Choice Society (EPCS) Annual Meeting 2017

The 2017 Meeting of the European Public Choice Society will be held from 19 April to 22 April 2017 at the Central European University's School of Public Policy in Budapest, Hungary.

Empirical, experimental, and theoretical papers will be considered. Please submit full papers via the online submission form, starting 01 September. The deadline for submission is 30 November .

Keynote Speakers are Gérard Roland (University of California, Berkeley) and Ekaterina Zhuravskaya (Paris School of Economics).
