The Chair in Economics and Public Finance is part of one of Germany's finest economics departments. Comprising a total of 12 seperate research groups (chairs), the economics department has a rich range of course offerings.
Courses offered under the auspicies of Professor Hans-Werner Sinn's chair are aimed primarily at Masters and Doctoral students. Students at the chair may take a study cycle constituting four courses, a research seminar, and guided Master's thesis, covering a variety of different themes in the area of public finance.
