Prof. Devashish Mitra and Prof. Gabriel Felbermayr currently work on a CESifo-MIT book project called „International Trade, Labor Market Institutions, and Unemployment: Theory and Evidence”. They also cooperate in research on trade and wage inequality. Prof. Mitra is a consultant in the research project „The effect of international trade on job flows, wages, and unemployment: The role of search frictions and firm heterogeneity“, which is funded by the Fritz Thyssen Stiftung.
