Wolfgang Eggert has been an Ifo research professor since 2002, working closely together with the Department of Public Finance. He advises department staff in their research and gives suggestions for new areas of research. Currently, Professor Eggert is collaborating with Robert Fenge on a study for the German Research Foundation (DFG) "Structural Policy of the European Union: Allocative and Distributive Effects of the Provision of Regional Public Goods in a Federal System".
