Professor Wolfgang Buchholz has been an Ifo research professor since 2003, working particularly closely with the Department of Environment and Transportation.
With his numerous research activities in environmental economics, Prof. Buchholz has given important research initiatives and valuable ideas fort he further development of the department’s research profile.
In close co-operation with the department, also with his active participation in workshops and research discussions, Prof. Buchholz has offered the department advice in its contract-research proposals and its expert opinions. In the near future he will participate in a brainstorming session on follow-up projects for current research projects.
In addition, he advises the labour markets and social policy department in research questions.
