The fifty-second Annual Meeting of the Ifo Institute took place on 26 June 2001 in the Haus der Bayerischen Wirtschaft (Europasaal, Max-Josef-Str. 5, Munich).

Starting at 10.45 a.m., staff of the Ifo Institute will be present in the foyer to discuss their research projects and services for the eight divisions.
The Ifo Institute awards an annual prize for outstanding success in the management of contract studies. The prize is given for work on a major research contract
The prize will be awarded for the first time at the 2001 Annual Meeting.
A prize goes to:
Dipl.-Vw. Rüdiger Parsche and Dr. Chang Woon Nam for the project: "Quantifizierung der Bemessungsgrundlage für die MwSt-Eigenmittel für ausgewählte EU-Mitgliedstaaten als makroökonomische Grundlage für die Neubestimmung der MwSt. im Rahmen des neuen gemeinsamen MwSt-Systems"
A second prize goes to:
Dipl.-Vw. Tilman Rave for the project: "Umweltorientierte Dienstleistungen als wachsender Beschäftigungssektor - Bestandsaufnahme und Zukunftsperspektiven unter besonderer Berücksichtigung des privaten Dienstleistungsgewerbes"
