The panel discussion to follow, lead by Roland Tichy, Chief Editor of WirtschaftsWoche, included Otmar Bernhard, Bavarian State Minister for the Environment, Health and Consumer Protection, Reinhard Bütikofer, Udo Martinsohn, CEO of Swiss Re Germany, Hans-Werner Sinn, Johannes Teyssen, executive board member of E.ON AG, and Andreas Troge, President of the Federal Environmental Agency. Prize for Academic Research Awarded by the Friends of the Ifo Institute
As recognition and incentive for high-quality research, the Friends of the Ifo Institute society award an annual prize for academic research. The requirement is publication in a scholarly journal with a peer review process.
