The sixtieth Annual Meeting of the Ifo Institute for Economic Research at the Universtiy of Munich took place on Tuesday, 23 June 2009.
The public portion began at 14.00 hrs in the Grosse Aula of the University of Munich (Geschwister-Scholl-Platz 1, Munich) and was entitled “The New Architecture of the International Financial World”. Following presentations by Hans-Werner Sinn and Axel Weber, a panel of experts discussed this topic. The panel included Georg Fahrenschon (Bavarian State Minister of Finance), Hans-Werner Sinn, Axel Weber and Theodor Weimer (CEO HypoVereinsbank AG).
