The Ifo Annual Meeting takes place in June and consists of a closed session (General Meeting, Meeting of the Board of Trustees) and a public session with an analysis of the economy by the president of the Ifo Institute and guest speakers from business and politics. The Annual Report is presented at this meeting.
The 62nd Annual Meeting of the Ifo Institute took place on Wednesday, 29 June 2011, in the Grosse Aula of the University of Munich.

Prize for Academic Research Awarded by the Friends of the Ifo Institute
As recognition and incentive for high-quality research, the Friends of the Ifo Institute society award an annual prize for academic research. The requirement is publication in a scholarly journal with a peer review process.
