On May 27-28, 2005, CESifo will organise a workshop in Munich for all members of the CESifo Research Network with an interest in the area of Employment and Social Protection.
The purpose of the workshop is to bring together CESifo members to present and discuss their ongoing research, and to stimulate interaction and co-operation between them. All CESifo research network members are invited to submit their papers, which may deal with any topic within the broad domains of employment, social policy and social conflict.
Contributions that address some issue in these fields from an institutional or political economy perspective are particularly welcome, but this is not a requirement.
The deadline for submission of papers, or a 2-3 page abstract, is February 15, 2005. CESifo research network members interested in presenting a paper should send their paper or extended abstracts to the workshop organiser:

Submission of papers to Kai Konrad by e-mail (in pdf format) is welcome. Authors of submitted papers will be notified no later than March 1, 2005 whether their paper has been accepted for the workshop.
CESifo will provide accommodation, and reimburse economy travel costs, for CESifo Research Fellows/Affiliates with accepted papers. Other network members are invited to attend, but are expected to provide their own funding for travel and accommodation.
