Hans-Werner Sinn presents his 50 economic-policy “viewpoints”, which outline his ideas for reform and contain short, well-founded comments on current affairs. Issue for issue, he seeks to break down the resistance to reform in Germany. In his “viewpoints” the author introduces the reader to current economic-policy issues and provides food for thought that many may prefer to avoid. The “viewpoints” deal with the main economic-policy issues that the author has grappled with in the past five years. “The Courage for Reforms” begins with his “Deutsche Rede” which condenses his ideas, findings and proposals and offers a broad orientation for the following “viewpoints”.
