The graph shows the correlation between the share of entrepreneurs in the working population and the share of workers with entrepreneurial knowledge and skills. In Germany, the share of people with entrepreneurial knowledge and skills is not particularly high. More strikingly, entrepreneurial knowledge and skills are often not put into practice in Germany. Even though 40 percent of the German working population have entrepreneurial skills, only 10 percent actually become entrepreneurs.
