The graph depicts the pecerntage of innovationg firms of the manufacturing sector in Germany. It shows that between the period from 1991 to 1993 and the period from 2006 to 2008 the share of innovators increased by 6.1 percentage points from 15.5 % to 21.6 %. Besides a small drop after the turn of the millenium the share increased continuously.
