It seems like these two weeks have gone in the blink of an eye. The organisation and friendliness of the staff made sure that I could focus on my work, while the numerous workshops and seminars provided me with new inspiration. Last year I visited CES and this year Ifo. Both visits have been very enjoyable and productive. Last year I finished 3 papers that were published this year. And at Ifo in October 2011 I have written up and revised three papers again, which I hope will be published next year. I really enjoyed the hospitality of the Ifo institute and I am very impressed by the efficiency in the administration here. Thank you all, in particular Katja for taking care of everything. It feels as if I just arrived yesterday, but 2 weeks were actually gone. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Gabriel and Mario for inviting me, Katja for the kind assistance to my visit and Alex for taking care of me, and of course, the Ifo Institute for the warm hospitality. The discussions with Gabriel, Mario, Beno and other young researchers here are very thought provoking and it has definitely been a productive and fantastic 10 days for me. This was my first visit to Ifo & it was wonderful. I very much appreciated the opportunity to come and focus on research. The accommodations (the cute apartment on the 4th floor) were perfect, as was Ifo's hospitality. My wife and oldest son were also able to come with me and they took advantage of all Bavaria has to offer. Perhaps most importantly, I very much valued the opportunity to develop new friendships at Ifo that may lead to new research activity in the future. Thank you! An extremely pleasant and productive stay at the Ifo Institute is ending - much too early. I enjoyed the inspiring intellectual atmosphere and the hospitality. I return back home with many new ideas. My visit at the Ifo institute was extremely productive and pleasant. The Guest apartment on the institute premises is very convenient and comfortable. And the intellectual environment is just outstanding. While at the institute, I started work on a couple of projects with Prof. Gabriel Felbermayr of the Ifo institute (and LMU).
