The project aims to develop a strong concept for the establishment of an application centre for the integration of satellite navigation, geoinformation and communication. Toward this end it is deemed importand to determine the integration of the basic technologies “commu-nication”, “navigation” and “remote sensing” as well as their probable development and to develop scenarios for value added services. The resulting strategy for the practical implementation of the application centre will be made concrete with action recommendations in the areas of "Economic Development", "Cooperation with Associations" and "Research and Development" and proposals for pilot projects to verify the approaches will be put forward.
