The construction of a European database for institutional comparisons will provide new impulses to comparative economic research in Europe. The database includes institutional regulations of the 27 EU member states and several other industrial countries. Work regards regulations in the fields of business and financial markets, education, innovation, energy, natural environment, labour market, migration, the public sector, infrastructure, social policy and values.
