Ifo Climate Index for the Euro Area: Still Climbing
Not quite there yet, but still headed upwards. With Germany roaring ahead, the Ifo Climate Index for the Euro Area suggests that the economic recovery will continue in the second half of the year, but at a slower pace. At the same time, the Ifo World Economic Climate clouded over slightly in the third quarter of 2010, with lower economic expectations for the coming six months, hinting at a slower pace of recovery of world economic activity in the second half of the year.
