IIPF Doctoral School

The International Institute of Public Finance has instituted a new initiative: an annual week-long IIPF Doctoral School for PhD students and recent PhD students. CESifo Munich, MaTax at ZEW, Mannheim; OTPR at the University of Michigan, and Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation act as co-organizers to this Doctoral School.

The first School will take place in September 2014 in Oxford, UK, on International Corporate Taxation.

The aim is to provide a forum in which new researchers can meet to learn about and discuss issues at the forefront of academic research in specific fields of public finance. Each School will cover a different topic, and will be convened by leading and experienced researchers in the relevant field. New researchers will also have the opportunity to present their own research and receive constructive feedback.

Further information is available here or at www.iipf.org/school. Applications from prospective participants are welcome.

It would be great if you could circulate this announcement amongst your colleagues.
